Since 2019, I've helped over 650 companies and nonprofit organizations achieve their business and nonprofit technical writing, creative design, and fundraising goals. In 2022, I’ve written $93.1M in awards (most awards are multiple year contracts of 3-5 years) with a 71% success rate. In 2023, we achieved $52.5M+ with an 72% success rate for clients. WHY NOW? WHY US?

Anyone who knows me, knows I have been writing RFP responses for over 25 years, which is half of my life. I receive many requests (more than one can possibly manage), but I only take on projects I deem are purposeful and meaningful with owners who operate with integrity. The sleepless nights, stress of trying to decipher requirements, and printing until there’s no ink, drives me and sometimes makes me cry inside, but when it’s done, we all jump for joy! Seeing a client achieve their dreams, truly makes me come alive. When you win, we all win!

My proposals stand out from the rest. We meet requirements, but also we craft cover pages and letters of intent in ways to truly showcase professionalism, giving your documents the “look” they need to capture attention. “The Prime Team” utilizes the templates I have personally developed and my hands touch every single document we work with, so I stand behind our quality offerings. I also have a design background and I work with a team of 3 design assistants who help bring your vision to life. Together, we work for you!

Believe it or not, I do about 99% of the writing. I don’t outsource technical writing for major projects. I have independents who assist with proofing and reviewing, but I am YOUR writer, which ensures quality NEVER falters. Many people don’t know that I have been drawing and winning competitions since I was a kid, so much of the work I do is organic. The website and all the coding was done by me. Believe it or not: my preference is to write bids and RFPs over grants, because nothing beats experience combined with reasonable and fair pricing.

MY CREDENTIALS

I graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (Go Fighting Illini!, UofI) with a B.S. in international, resource, and consumer economics with a concentration in finance. Additionally, I’ve achieved my MBA in public administration from Keller Graduate School of Management and completed a six sigma green belt at Villanova University. Currently, I’m studying for my Certified Ethical Hacker Certification with an overarching goal to become a Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) Master. As a winner of the Tory Burch and Bank of America Grant, I was afforded the opportunity to pursue a Certificate in Women’s Entrepreneurship through Cornell’s “Bank of America Institute for Women's Entrepreneurship”.

Thankfully, I have been blessed to write over 9-figures in awards with more wins than I can count. From winning competitive bid awards for for-profit clients to achieving funding opportunities for nonprofits from global leaders like Walmart, Facebook, Comcast, Loews, and more, we work diligently to produce favorable outcomes (but again, we make no guarantees, we follow process EVERY TIME).

I am also a U.S. Department of Labor (DOL), Employment and Training Administration (ETA) Grant Review Panelist for the Workforce Pathways for Youth, Apprenticeship Building America, and YouthBuild programs. I have also reviewed Restore, Reinvest, Renew (R3) grant applications for the Illinois Criminal Justice Information Authority (ICJIA) and Justice Advisory Council (JAC), along with Greater Illinois Department of Human Services (DHS) Trauma Informed Behavioral Health Services and Violence Prevention Grants.

Prime is certified as a SBA Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB), by the State of Florida as a Women’s Business Enterprise (WBE) and Minority Business Enterprise (MBE), and by Miami-Dade County Public Schools (M-DCPS) as a MBE/WBE and Micro Business Enterprise. I dedicate all of my hard work, efforts, and wins to the memory of my father, my inspiration.

HOW I ADD VALUE…

I’m creative and I know how to turn an idea into reality. When I meet with a client, I see the BIG picture. I “begin with the end in mind” and “work backwards to achieve a goal”. In my mind, the proposal is already complete and awarded, then I find ways to make it so.
